The Art of the Hypnotic VacationVacations … What do they mean to you? — Perhaps it may be that you take time off work and travel to destinations, experience adventures, enjoy rest and relaxation and/or spend quality time with family and friends.  The “stay-cation” is also a popular way to enjoy summertime.

A “vacation” is actually simply our perception.   It may be important for you to take a physical vacation away from your everyday obligations, but it is just as vitally important to take a mental hypnotic vacation daily

Every day, take a few minutes, find a quiet safe place to relax, and allow your mind to daydream to a peaceful place that brings you joy. Begin with sitting or reclining comfortably, allow your arms and legs to be relaxed and open, then close your eyes and take in some deep breaths. Really get in touch with your deep rhythmic breathing; then allow your mind to take you to a place that is peaceful, relaxing and joyful. Stay in that state of mind and body for a few minutes, then slowly bring yourself up to full awareness; slowly get up and take in some deep breaths while stretching your body. You will feel relaxed, yet newly energized and revitalized by taking that mental vacation!

This is also a wonderful way to clear your mind of the clutter and begin to imagine and visualize what it is you want your future to look like!
